Academic Collaboration
The department has been having close partnerships and collaborations with the most prominent universities in the world. For example, our faculty members are regularly invited for speeches and lectures in Charles University in Prague, as well as regular mutual visiting with Shangdong University in China. In recent years, the department has also been engaged in many successful cooperation programs with major universities in Asian and America such as UCLA Center for Chinese Studies, Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Columbia University, Asian Languages and Cultures at Rutgers University, Faculty of Letters, Arts and Sciences at Waseda University, Department of Chinese Language and Culture at Fudan University, School of Liberal Arts at Nanjing University, College of Chinese Language & Literature at Wuhan University, and Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University. In addition, joint academic activities are constantly held in an ad hoc fashion with Kyoto University, Hokkaido University, Princeton University, Harvard University, Stanford University, Hong Kong University, and the University of Macau.
